My sailboat of 35 years, the HOPE, is looking for a new home. I have cared for it, resurrected it from two capsizings, and sailed it extensively in NE and Florida. It has been in Florida for 25 years, lives on a trailer that is still serviceable. It is the old style, 1967 Mariner with the beautiful mahogany floor boards, rudder and trim. Sail 683. The wood has been refinished at least three times under my ownership. Sails still have a good shape, roller furling CDI Genny. 6 hp, 15 year-old Tohatsu extra long shaft motor needs a water pump. Nice cushions in cockpit with backrests. Lots of extras. The boat has a full cover of sunbrella on the trailer, that's only a few years old and keeps it very protected from the weather and the sun. This boat is ready to sail. Boom has a half fast repair, but works. Trailer still serviceable but aging. Looking for a good home, maybe another 59 years?
$2,000. in Cocoa Fl.
PS I have moved to a 24" Corsair Sprint Trimaran
Still love Mariners
